About Phillipa Reeve

I’ve worn many labels in my journey through life – circus concession worker, cafe worker, boat builder’s helper, social worker, house designer, construction worker, salesperson, business owner, personal development coach, counsellor, student, creative writing facilitator, life partner, mother, grandmother, friend, poet and artist. All undoubtedly inform my art.

The path has been winding, erratic and confusing. Often seeming like it was going nowhere. Or somewhere. Only to be derailed by endless detours. Not what you’d call prudent, but oh so often fun and engaging.

The thread that’s been woven through it all, has been one of curiosity, wonder and awe. A search for possibility in myself, in others, in concepts, in the world and in the moment. This search continues through my art.
